The CW has released a series of photos from the first chapter of the five-part “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover which will span its DC Comics-based shows– ‘Supergirl’, ‘Batwoman’, ‘The Flash’, ‘Arrow’, and ‘Legends of Tomorrow’.  The events kick off on ‘Supergirl, which may explain why the majority of that show’s cast figures so prominently, including Melissa Benoist as the Girl of Steel, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers, David Harewood as J’Onn J’Onzz, Jesse Rath as Brainiac-5, and Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor.

Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch return as Superman and Lois Lane, and among the photos in this set is the first look at their Superbaby!

Also pictured are Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen/Green Arrow), Katherine McNamara (Mia Smoak/Green Arrow) and Audrey Marie Anderson (Lyla Michaels/Harbinger) from ‘Arrow’; ‘Batwoman’ herself, Ruby Rose; ‘The Flash’s Grant Gustin; and Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer/The Atom) and Caity Lotz (Sara Lance/White Canary) from ‘Legends of Tomorrow’.  It kind of interesting that only two of the Legends are present, and that the guests from the other shows are mainly just the headliners.  But the cast members have been sharing behind-the-scenes photos which have revealed other characters as part of this event.
