It’s no secret that Zack Snyder, Warner Bros., and DC Entertainment are doing everything that they possibly can to keep details regarding ‘Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice’ under wraps. However, as WWE Hall of Famer “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase always says, everybody’s got a price.

Local Michigan news affiliate WILX-10 recently spoke to an extra from the upcoming DC Comics blockbuster that agreed to reveal some exclusive details about the production as long as he was kept completely anonymous due to the $5 million fine that he faces for breaking the confidentiality agreement if his identity is revealed. The report starts out by saying that Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne (not Batman) will have a physical altercation with Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor in a scene that features “heavy special effects” that is filmed on the Michigan State University’s campus. Then, it goes on to reveal the biggest news to leak yet: Robin will be played by a female, which leads one to assume that either Carrie Kelley or Stephanie Brown will be making an appearance in the film. Check out the video below to hear the whole story:

As the reporter mentions, ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ star Jena Malone has been spotted on set, so many are assuming that she will take on the role of the Robin, but this has not been confirmed yet. But the question remains as to which version of the character she will presumably play. While I would love to see Stephanie Brown appear in the DC Cinematic Universe, chances are that since Snyder’s film is said to be inspired by ‘The Dark Knight Returns’, we’re more likely to see Carrie Kelley’s Girl Wonder on the big screen.

What do you think about a female Robin appearing in ‘Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice’? Do you think that Jena Malone will step into the role? And which Robin do you think it will be, Stephanie Brown or Carrie Kelley? Share your thoughts and theories in the comments below.
