Wonder Girl Conor Leslie

Fans only got a taste of Wonder Girl in Season 1 of ‘Titans’, but expect Conor Leslie to have a larger presence in Season 2, which should be released later this year.  While Leslie’s Donna Troy is shown leaping great distances, performing acrobatic feats, and even slinging her Golden Lasso, she didn’t don her famous red uniform and go full Wonder Girl.  But it’s coming!

In January, a photo leaked, revealing Leslie in her super suit.  Now the star has posted a video on Twitter, of her first day of lasso practice.  For her first day, she’s doing pretty darn well!

It’s not clear how large a role Donna will have in Season 2, but the only guest-star from Season 1 who has been bumped to series regular is Curran Walters, who plays Jason Todd, the second Robin.  Unfortunately, that seems to indicate that Leslie, as well as Minka Kelly (Dawn Granger/Dove) and Alan Ritchson (Hank Hall/Hawk) will remain as recurring guest-stars.

That’s unfortunate, as this series draws heavily from the ‘New Teen Titans’ iteration of the comics, from the early 1980s, and Wonder Girl was one of the primary members of the team at that time.

The main cast of ‘Titans’ consists of Anna Diop as Koriand’r/Kory Anders/Starfire, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth/Raven, Ryan Potter as Garfield Logan/Beast Boy, and Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson/Robin.  Season 1 also introduced Seamus Dever as Rachel’s demonic father Trigon.

Season Two adds Iain Glenn as Bruce Wayne, Esai Morales as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke, Chella Man as his son Joseph/Jericho and Chelsea T. Zhang as his daughter Rose/Ravager.  Another new addition is Joshua Orpin who will portray Superboy.

DC Universe has not announced a specific release date for ‘Titans’, but it is expected sometime this fall.
