In the first ‘A Quiet Place’ we were introduced to a world where to survive from what appeared to be an alien invasion you had to live in silence and now the sequel is expanding on that. While director John Krasinski has kept his mouth shut as to what we could expect from ‘A Quiet Place 2’ it seems like not every actor has remained silent as newcomer Brian Tyree Henry (‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’,’Hotel Artemis’) had been willing to talk about a few things that we can expect from the film.

We’ve already known that Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe would be reprising their roles as the Abbotts and while Henry confirms that he also lets us know that what happened to the world will be shown in more than a quick newspaper clipping.
According to Henry:
“We’ll see more of that family continuing to survive and finding out that they’re not the only ones. And I think that we’re also going to get a few answers to the origin of where and how this whole thing happened. I think that people want to know that. But I think you’re just going to see another side of it…more of humanity that survived this thing in this next story.”
I love the idea of perhaps knowing how others have survived or more of the aliens, but I hope that we don’t get a full-on backstory as part of the terror from the first film was not knowing anything about the species which was hunting down humanity.
