Zombieland: Double Tap
Sony/Columbia Pictures

It turns out Tallahassee’s favorite expression, “It’s time to nut up or shut up,” is very… 2009.  At least that is according to Albuquerque, one of the new survivors that viewers will get to know in ‘Zombieland: Double Tap’.  But before that, get a more revealing look at the sequel, in the new red band (NSFW) trailer, which is promised to offer more than just the “F-Word.”  (Although it does offer the F-Word, quite a few times.)

Take a look below:

Woody Harrelson returns as Tallahassee, along with Abigail Breslin as Little Rock, Jesse Eisenberg as Columbus, and Emma Stone as Wichita.  Luke Wilson joins as Tallahassee’s new rival, Albuquerque, who is accompanied by a Columbus doppelganger called Flagstaff, played by Thomas Middleditch.  Also joining the adventure are Nevada (Rosario Dawson), Madison (Zoey Deutch), and Berkley (Avan Jogia).

As the new trailer reveals, Bill Murray makes a cameo, although it looks to be footage from the past, when he was still alive, and being interviewed by Al Roker.  Dan Aykroyd is also reported to pop up in the new film.

Ruben Fleischer returns to direct the sequel, which comes out almost ten years exactly after the release of the original.  Dave Callaham, Rhett Reese, and Paul Wernick contributed to the screenplay.

About the new film, Fleischer said:

“We find our heroes from the last movie ten years later, as they’re just moving into the White House.  Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) has a saying, ‘Go big, or go home.’ They kind of took it to heart and went for kind of the biggest and best home they could find… In the 10 years since the first movie, zombies have evolved into different types of zombies.  The one that’s causing the big threat are the T-800 zombies, that are stronger, faster, harder to kill.”

‘Zombieland: Double Tap’ will invade theaters on October 18.
