There is exciting news for ‘Zombieland 2‘ as the cast is expanding to include Rosario Dawson! It has yet to be announced how she’ll take part in the movie, but more details have been slowly trickling out of this Ruben Fleischer directed movie. We already know that Zoey Deutch and Avan Jogia were set to join the original cast of Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, and Abigail Breslin who are all slated to return and we’re expecting more casting to be announced soon. The film is currently in the process of going into filming so the details should be starting to come out at any time!
From the synopsis, we know that “the sequel centers on the comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland. The zombie slayers must face off against the many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. Most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family.”
Not only that, but the production team may have just released the first poster for the sequel. While it could just be using the timing of the popularity of the “10 Year Challenge” which has been popping up on social media as of late, it seemed the perfect time to release their own take on it with an updated look at the leads from ‘Zombieland.’
It looks like all four have survived and aren’t too much worse for wear!
