Star Wars: Resistance

Fans of ‘Star Wars: Resistance’ are likely unhappy that the second season of the latest animated “Star Wars” outing will be its last, but this trailer for the series is still exciting! Returning this October to both Disney Channel and DisneyNow, we’ll see a ton of new threats to our heroes after a bit of a time jump. The new season is flashing forward and will take place between the events in ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi‘ and ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.’

That means when Kylo Ren makes an appearance in these episodes it will be as Supreme Leader Kylo Ren. This will also be our first look at how the Resistance is handling the loss of so many senior officers and ships in ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi.’

The official synopsis for the second season is as follows:

Kaz and the team continue to fight against the threat of the First Order, culminating in an epic series finale. The story picks up after a harrowing escape from the First Order, as the Colossus and all its residents find themselves lost in space, pursued by Agent Tierny and Commander Pyre…meanwhile, Tam grapples with her future and where her true allegiance lies, with her friends or the First Order. The thrilling final season will showcase how the unlikeliest of heroes can help spark hope across the galaxy.

We know that the second season will have new guest-starring voice actors joining the cast well including Joe Manganiello as Ax Tagrin, Daveed Diggs as Norath Kev, and Lucy Lawless as the Aeosian Queen.

There has yet to be confirmation that Oscar Isaac would be back to voice Poe Dameron though I doubt that hearing him would come as a surprise to anyone.
