D23 2019 Will Have A Panel For The Mandalorian

“Star Wars” fans attending D23 are going to have an extra special treat this year as they’ll be featuring a panel for ‘The Mandalorian‘! The streaming service hasn’t even launched yet, and Lucasfilm has confirmed that Jon Favreau will be back to direct a second season so finding out more details about the first season is good news for potential fans everywhere. The sneak preview is going to be released on Friday, August 23rd, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. in Hall D23 during the Disney+ panel.

Not only will there be a sneak preview of the show, but Executive producer Jon Favreau alongside series writer Dave Filoni will be sharing details about the series! The panel will also feature other guests who will be “offering a glimpse at the titular bounty hunter and his travels to the outer reaches of the galaxy far, far away.” It is easy to hazard a guess that some of the cast and potentially the directors could appear as well.

The Lucasfilm pavilion at D23 will also showcase “the evolution of stormtrooper designs” which will have the new Sith trooper from ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ and any new styles that may pop up in ‘The Mandalorian.’

If you’re going to the convention, will you be checking this out in person? What new details about the series do you hope will be revealed? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
