We already knew that Werner Herzog (‘Jack Reacher’,’Parks and Rec’) was going to be appearing in Disney+’s ‘The Mandalorian‘ and now the filmmaker turned actor has opened up a bit as to what we can expect. While Herzog won’t be the major villain for the show, he will be one of them which shouldn’t be too much of a surprise

When talking about what he has been up to in recent years, Herzog strayed slightly into “Star Wars” territory:

“Yes, I did some more now. Now, this is not a secret anymore, a small part, real small part, in “The Mandalorian,” the Star Wars sequel or whatever you call it. I like to do it because I know I’m good on screen, but only if I have to play a real villain.”

This isn’t too much of a surprise but now makes us wonder if we’ll see him in multiple episodes if this is a “real small part.” At least he’ll be able to flex his villainous acting chops which should be a treat for however long he does grace the small screen!

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
