Men In Black: International

A couple of days ago, a new international cut of the ‘Men in Black: International’ trailer premiered which featured new clips– more action, more future tech, and of course more aliens.  Unfortunately, the quality wasn’t great, but now a higher rez version of that clip has surfaced.

‘Men in Black: International’ was directed by F. Gary Gray, with a screenplay by ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’s  Matt Holloway & Art Marcum.  The film was shot on location in New York, Morocco, Italy, and London.

The Men in Black have always protected the Earth from the scum of the universe. In this new adventure, they tackle their biggest, most global threat to date: a mole in the Men in Black organization.

‘Men in Black: International’ reunites ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ costars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, as the debonaire Agent H, and newcomer, Agent M, respectively.  Kumail Nanjiani lends his voice to miniature alien Pawney, who can be seen in this clip, riding around in Agent M’s jacket pocket.  Liam Neeson appears as High T, the leader of the London branch of the MIB organization, while Emma Thompson returns as Agent O, the character first introduced in ‘Men in Black III’.

The heroes will be taking on ‘Mission: Impossible’s Rebecca Ferguson as Riza, a shapeshifting alien capable of creating multiple arms to attack her enemies.  Riza is joined by identical shapeshifters portrayed by Les Twins (Laurent and Larry Bourgeois).  ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’s Rafe Spall has an undisclosed role, but he is also believed to be a villain.

‘Men in Black: International’ has not been screened for the press yet.  It is being eyed to open in the $40 million range, domestically, but reviews could push that higher– or lower.

‘Men in Black: International’ opens this weekend, on June 14.
