We’ve seen plenty of behind-the-scenes photos and promo shots from ‘Men in Black: International’ but there hasn’t been much of a look at the actual aliens in the film until now. Director F. Gary Gray already has some amazing star power to showcase with Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, but when it comes to agents that deal with aliens, we need some amazing extraterrestrials as well. Our first look at a variety of the species appears to show that we’ll have some fun new faces and races to see on the big screen in this soft reboot of the franchise.
Producer Walter F. Parkes did share to not “be surprised if you see the Worm Aliens make a brief appearance,” but that doesn’t mean that they’ll be the leading threat to humanity or Earth. While most of the new aliens are still a secret, details are coming out such as the fact that Kumail Nanjiani is voicing Pawny who is an “alien sidekick” and that Rebecca Ferguson is playing a partially CGI three-armed character named Riza.
However, we’re getting an advanced look at some of the other aliens who will appear in the film such as aliens who are working for the Men in Black which you can see here:
The first of these two are obviously agents while the third one looks to be a general staffer that could be delivering mail or files within the ‘Men in Black’ headquarters. I love that we’re starting to see the aliens who will appear in the film but hope that we’ll finally get a look at some of the ones who are trying to take over the Earth or at the very least are causing a nuisance to the agents.
What do you think of our first look at these new aliens which we’ll see in ‘Men in Black’? Do you believe that any other aliens from the previous movies will make an appearance? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
‘Men in Black: International’ will be released on June 14, 2019.
