May 23rd is coming and with it we are inching towards the release of the mutant filled time travelling event known as ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past‘. Today gives us eight new screen shots to share with you and one of them really stands out as something new. With tons of photos, character bios and the first trailer we’ve been given a lot from the film. Thankfully they haven’t been giving us far too many early clips as some films in the genre have been leaking as of late. I’m looking squarely at you ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2‘!

First up we have a great shot of Nightcrawler and Wolverine in what completely feels like a scene that would be fitting for the two. Next up is another shot of Mystique who seems to be almost in as many promo shots as Wolverine for this film. Third we have Trask doing something scientific (or having an eye exam), Fourth up is a young Professor X giving Wolverine a face massage (unless he’s using direct contact to read his mind as he hasn’t honed his skilled quite yet), Another shot of a young Professor X with a blue Beast in the background, A shot of the elder Professor X looking like he’s getting ready to drive, a shot of Bishop where they might be showing how he’ll get sent back in time for the X-Force film (I’m guessing here) or trying to and fail which is what causes Wolverine to have to come back, and finally a shot of Wolverine, Beast, and a young Magneto with a gun. Supervillains love guns.

I think the shot that most stands out is the one with Bishop which I really feel will be leading towards either why Wolverine was sent back or a tie-in to the future X-Force film.

What do you think of the latest shots from the film? Do any of the others stand out as major plot points for you are have a great look? Share your thoughts below!
