Annabelle

Warner Brothers has released a short new clip to announce the name of its upcoming third ‘Annabelle’ movie, ‘Annabelle Comes Home’.  Gary Dauberman makes his directorial debut with this horror flick, which is an extension of ‘The Conjuring’ series.  Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga return as Ed and Lorraine Warren.  They are joined by Mckenna Grace, Madison Iseman, and Katie Sarife.

Check out the new clip below:

Last year, Dauberman described ‘Annabelle Comes Home’, saying:

“It really picks up with the Warrens bringing Annabelle to the place where it can really no longer wreak havoc, which is their artifact room. But, of course, it turns out she can also wreak havoc there.”

Producer James Wan added,  “It’s basically ‘Night at the Museum’ with Annabelle!”

It seems that Annabelle has a new target, the Warrens’ ten-year-old daughter Judy (Grace).

While Dauberman may not have directed a film before, he has worked extensively as a producer and writer of horror fare.  In fact, he wrote all three ‘Annabelle’ movies, including this new one, as well as ‘The Nun’, another ‘Conjuring’ spinoff.  He also contributed to the scripts of both ‘It’ movies, and the upcoming ‘Are You Afraid of the Dark?’ movie.  He is writing and executive producing DC Universe’s upcoming ‘Swamp Thing’ series, based on the DC/Vertigo comic book.  He has another TV series in the works, entitled ‘The Terrestrial’, about a schizophrenic man who claims to have been kidnapped by aliens when he was younger, only for his own daughter to go missing, with him suspecting the same beings are responsible.

Determined to keep Annabelle from wreaking more havoc, demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) bring the possessed doll to the locked artifacts room in their home, placing her “safety” behind sacred glass and enlisting a priest’s holy blessing. But an unholy night of horror awaits as Annabelle awakens the evil spirits in the room, who all set their sights on a new target – the Warrens’ ten-year-old daughter Judy (Mckenna Grace), and her babysitters (Madison Iseman and Katie Sarife).

‘Annabelle Comes Home’ comes to theaters on June 28.
