Keiynan Lonsdale is racing back to Central City. He will return as Wally West/Kid Flash in ‘The Flash’ Season 6 Episode 14. The most recent episode, “Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part 3” was the ninth. Episode ten is scheduled to air on February 4, 2020, so that should give you an idea of when this episode will arrive.
Showrunner Eric Wallace described the episode saying:
“After working on his inner life in Tibet, Wally West, aka Kid Flash, is back to help Team Flash against a familiar threat… but one with a very new face!”
Wallace added:
“As always, it’s a real treat having our Flash family member Keiynan Lonsdale back to play the youthful speedster, but what’s different this time [is that] Wally has grown, along with his speedster abilities, too.”
He further stated “this won’t be your same old Kid Flash making a reappearance,” and that the writers had come up with “a fresher, more exciting direction for character as Wally — just like the rest of Team Flash — deals with a post-Crisis world.”

And yes, it is a little strange that Lonsdale isn’t returning until well after “Crisis on Infinite Earths,” which is kind of an “everything but the kitchen sink” event.
Lonsdale made his debut as Wally back in Season 2, but over time, the writers ran out of ideas for him. He temporarily shifted over to ‘Legends of Tomorrow’, before Lonsdale decided to take some time off for personal reasons. Lonsdale came out as pansexual in 2017, although he chooses not to label his sexuality. Around this time, he co-starred in ‘Love, Simon’, a teen coming out story directed by Greg Berlanti who produces all of the Arrowverse shows.
He was most recently seen in the music video “Liar” by Camilla Cabello, and he will next be seen in another teen coming of age movie, ‘Work It’.
Are you glad that Wally is coming back to ‘The Flash’?
