Here’s some non-“Crisis on Infinite Earths” news regarding one of The CW’s DC Comics shows!  Since it debuted in early October, freshman series ‘Batwoman’ has been a breakout hit.  It ranks as The CW’s second-highest-rated series behind ‘The Flash’.

The DC shows are headed into the “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover, after which they will go on winter hiatus.  But outside of this event, the shows have to stand and fall on their own and during its first season, ‘Batwoman’, starring Ruby Rose as the titular crime buster, has soared with its intriguing mystery surrounding Kate Kane’s archenemy Alice (Rachel Skarsten), who turned out to be her long-thought-dead twin sister, Beth.  The show has also incorporated intriguing villains like Gabriel Mann as Tommy Elliot, known in the comics as Hush, and Rachel Matthews as jewel thief Magpie.  The series also recently introduced Christina Wolfe as Julia Pennyworth, the daughter of Batman’s butler Alfred, who acts as a British secret agent.

However, these photos spotlight the show’s regular cast.  Rose in both her Batwoman and Kate Kane guises; Skartsen as Alice; Meagan Tandy as Sophie Moore, Kate’s ex-girlfriend and Gotham security agent; Nicole Kang as Kate’s step-sister, the altruistic Mary Hamilton; Camrus Johnson as Luke Fox, a confidante of Batman’s, who is now helping Batwoman fill the void left by his absence; Dougray Scott as Kate’s father, Jacob Kane, leader of the Crows; and Elizabeth Anweis as Jacob’s wife, the wealthy Catherine Hamilton-Kane.
