While Tom Hiddleston‘s ‘Loki’ died in ‘Avengers: Infinity War,’ we saw a loophole introduced in ‘Avengers: Endgame’ which could keep the God of Mischief around in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We’ve been wondering what exactly the upcoming Disney+ tale would tell us about Loki and now the actor has revealed two key components to the show that will make sure fans are tuning in.

We know that the Loki we’ll be watching in the series is the younger version which was able to escape using the Tesseract. However, many fans are still wondering if the Trickster God somehow fooled Thanos and audiences and is again running around the MCU somewhere.

According to Hiddleston who recently appeared on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’:

“In the years since Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, […] two questions I’ve been asked: Is Loki really dead and what is Loki doing with that cube? It’s always the cubes. This series will answer both of the questions.”

So, now we’re going to know for sure if the Loki who was able to grow as a character is somehow still around. Also, what the younger one who is still evil has been up to. Hiddleston wouldn’t confirm if time travel was involved in the upcoming show, but early shots seem to indicate that it will be part of it.
