20th Century Fox invites you to “Choose Your Fate” with four new character posters for ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’. Franchise stars Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor) and Arnold Schwarzenegger (“Carl”) get their own posters, while newcomers Mackenzie Davis (Grace) and Natalia Reyes (Daniella “Dani” Ramos) share one. In addition to them, the new Rev-9 Terminator (played by Gabriel Luna) gets a spotlight poster as well.
What may be even more interesting than the new posters is the fact that it seems that Fox has moved the release date of ‘Dark Fate’ up. While it has been listed as opening on November 1st, the tweet now declares that the film will arrive on October 23, two weeks earlier.

James Cameron, who directed Hamilton and Schwarzenegger in the first two ‘Terminator’ films is back in the role of executive producer of ‘Dark Fate’, which was directed by ‘Deadpool’s Tim Miller. The new movie takes place 27 years after ‘Terminator 2: Judgement Day’ and ignores the events of the sequels that followed it. Luna’s Terminator is sent back in time to eliminate Dani Ramos. Davis’ Grace, a cyborg, Sarah Connor, and Carl, an original T-800, must protect her.
Check out the new posters below, which Fox shared via its Twitter account:
Edward Furlong, who played Sarah’s son John in ‘Terminator 2’ will be back in the same role for ‘Dark Fate’. The cast also includes Diego Boneta, Steven Cree, and Enrique Arce.
Below you can see that this tweet announces that ‘Dark Fate’ is opening on October 23, which is a Wednesday, and about two weeks earlier than November 1.

However, the movie is still listed as being released on November 1 everywhere else. Perhaps October 23 is when its premiere is being held. Or maybe this was just a mistake.
We’ll update you if anything changes, but for now, look for this sequel to arrive on November 1st.
