Disney+

Disney has an ambitious plan for Disney+ and now more details about the service have come to light. Not only have they launched their Disney+ Twitter account but they’ve released a teaser trailer for the service and international rollout details. With the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN bundle having recently been released it should come as no surprise that the global pricing and dates are starting to come out. As the platform is set to include existing and original content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucas Film, and National Geographic there are a lot of fans dying to know more about it!

The service will debut on November 12th, 2019 in the United States for $6.99 a month by itself and we’ll see it hit Canada and the Netherlands at the same time with price points of C$8.99 per month, or $89.99 per year and €6.99 or €69.99 respectively. On November 19th, 2019 fans in Australia can subscribe for A$8.99 or $89.99 while those in New Zealand can get in on the action for NZ$9.99 or $99.99. Release details for both the UK and Ireland have yet to be revealed though they will be earlier markets and the rest of the world’s eventual rollout is still being finalized.

Some of the upcoming shows are featured in this teaser but, unsurprisingly, nothing from Marvel Studios or ‘The Mandalorian.’

Fans will be able to subscribe directly to Disney+ as well as on platforms such as Apple, Google, Microsoft’s Xbox One, and PS4. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see it be released on others as well down the line.
