Pallavi Sharda has landed the female lead role on ABC’s ‘Lost’-like drama pilot ‘Triangle’.  The pilot will be produced by Jon Harmon Feldman and Jennifer Gwartz’s Random Hill and ABC Studios.  The script for the pilot was written by Feldman with Sonny Postiglione, and questions:

“What if the Bermuda Triangle was not a watery grave in the middle of the ocean but a land lost in time that has trapped travelers over the course of human history? When a family is shipwrecked in this strange land, they must band together with a group of like-minded inhabitants — from throughout history — to survive and somehow find a way home.”

McG (‘Lethal Weapon’) is attached to direct.

Last fall, NBC’s also kinda ‘Lost’-like series, ‘Manifest’ became the #1 new drama on network TV.

Sharda is of Indian descent, but is Australian in nationality, and has built a career in Bollywood, Australia, and the UK.  She currently stars in the UK series ‘Beecham House’, and Australia’s ‘Les Norton’, opposite Rebel Wilson.  She starred in a pilot called ‘Murder’ last year, for CBS, which wasn’t ordered to series.  In 2017, she was a regular cast member of the Australian series ‘Pulse’.  She appeared in the 2017 movie ‘Lion’ which was nominated for six Academy Awards, for Best Motion Picture of the Year, Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role for Dev Patel, Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for Nicole Kidman, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Achievement in Cinematography, and Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures (Original Score).

She will star opposite Mike Vogel, who most recently starred on the NBC series ‘The Brave’, which only lasted for one season.  He previously starred on ‘Grounded for Life’, ‘Miami Medical’, ‘Pan Am’, ‘Bates Motel’, ‘Under the Dome’, and ‘Childhood’s End’.  He also appeared in the films ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’, ‘The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants’, ‘Cloverfield’, ‘Blue Valentine’, ‘She’s Out of My League’, and ‘The Help’.
