Get ready to fly back to Etheria for the second season of the animated hit ‘She-Ra and the Princesses of Power’. Netflix hosted a panel at WonderCon 2019, and unveiled a new trailer for Season 2, a new poster, and still images. The first season consisted of 13 episodes, and depicted Adora, voiced by Aimee Carrero, an elite soldier-in-training for The Horde, who discovers her benefactors are truly evil conquerors.
She soon discovers a magical sword that transforms her into Amazonian warrior She-Ra. During the first season, Adora must experiment with her abilities as she doesn’t fully understand them, and along the way discovers the hidden history of Etheria and the mantle of She-Ra. With the help of her “Best Friend Squad,” Glimmer (Karen Fukuhara) and Bow (Marcus Scribner), she must also reassemble the fractured Princess Alliance, uniting the divided kingdoms of Etheria in order to stand up to The Horde’s conquest.
And while The Horde is tough, Adora’s greatest struggle may be against her former best friend, Catra (AJ Michalka), who was promoted to Hordak’s second-in-command. The two were raised practically as sisters but now find their lives diverging at a deadly crossroads.
