The ‘Bumblebee‘ movie is right around the corner, and today you’ve got two clips to watch that puts a focus on everyone’s favorite Transformer as well as a couple of humans who are there to help move the plot forward! Unlike the initial live-action “Transformers” movies by Michael Bay, it does look like Hailee Steinfeld’s Charlie won’t just be the human framework to a story that has no idea how to include these Robots In Disguise but be part of the plot in a way that actually develops their characters.
I’m just glad that they seem to be embracing everything that will let fans enjoy the nostolgia from the original animated series.
Even though they are surrounded and told to “don’t run,” Bumblebee does in this new clip!
Also, we learn that “I Can’t Drive 55” in this one!
Each new preview of ‘Bumblebee’ has had me excited from stills of Optimus Prime to the inclusion of the Triple Chargers to that Soundwave has just made this movie feel as if it will resonate with audiences in a way that Bay’s films never really were able to.
Are you looking forward to ‘Bumblebee’ giving us a new take on the “Transformers” that cinematically seems closer to their ’80s inspirations? Which of these two clips did you enjoy more? Do you think that the studio will use this as a soft reboot if audiences respond to this in a way that they didn’t with Michael Bay’s movies? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.
‘Bumblebee’ will transform and roll into your local theaters on December 21st, 2018!
