Bumblebee

A new clip and featurette for ‘Bumblebee,’ the upcoming ‘Transformers’ spinoff have been released by Paramount!

Set in 1987, ‘Bumbleebee’ has our favorite yellow robot on the run as he teams up with a teenager (Hailee Steinfeld) in a California beach town.

The clip introduces the Triple Changers, who have the ability to transform into two vehicles and also features the Decepticons, who introduce themselves as “Decepticon Peace Keepers.” What’s really special about this clip, though, is that it gives us a look at what the franchise can look like without Michael Bay. I, for one, appreciate the lack of gratuitous explosions and loud noises!

Along with the clip, a featurette has been released and explains the introduction of the triple changers into the franchise. Check out the clip and featurette below!

‘Bumblebee’ opens in theaters on December 21st and stars John Cena, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., John Ortiz, Jason Drucker, Pamela Adlon, and Stephen Schneider. Read on for the official synopsis for ‘Bumblebee:’

On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach
town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world,
discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this
is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.
