For those looking towards some fresh blood joining the cast of the seventh season of ‘American Horror Story‘ then you’ll be happy to hear that Ryan Murphy has added Colton Haynes (‘San Andreas’,’Teen Wolf’) to the series!

Murphy took to Instagram to share the latest addition in quite a bloody fashion, and one has to wonder if this is at all a hint as to how he’ll appear on the show. We don’t know much about the plot of the series quite yet, but have learned that it will tie into last year’s election cycle and the likely fallout from it.

Welcome to American Horror Story, Colton Haynes

It should be noted that this blood on the mouth does match the concept art for the upcoming season.

Haynes has already worked with Murphy on Fox’s ‘Screen Queens’ so the two are no strangers which should help him adapt into another horror-themed show quite easily. However, fans of this site most likely recognize him most from his time as Roy Harper or Arsenal on The CW’s ‘Arrow.’ At this time we do know that Haynes will be joining a cast which also includes Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Billie Lourd, Cheyenne Jackson, Adina Porter, and Billy Eichner. The cast quickly seems to be filling up so while I would expect to see a couple more announcements, there probably won’t be many other major names being revealed.
