Joshua Orpin will join DC Universe’s ‘Titans’ as Conner Kent, better known as Superboy, a clone made by combining the DNA of Superman and Lex Luthor. This character’s introduction was teased in a post-credits scene tacked onto the end of the last episode of Season 1. But Superboy wasn’t the only character teased. The scene also introduced Krypto the Super Dog, indicated by his glowing red eyes.
‘Titans’ Season 2 is now in production, and Orpin shared a picture on Instagram that confirms the presence of Krypto in the new episodes. Check it out below:
This could be step one of Krypto’s pop culture domination, as the Dog of Steel is also going to star in the animated movie ‘Super Pets’ coming out in 2022. A HEAVILY modified version of Krypto, called Wolf, is featured on the animated DC Universe series ‘Young Justice: Outsiders’.

It was just announced that Natalie Gumede has been cast as Lex Luthor’s valet/bodyguard Mercy Graves for ‘Titans’ S2. That will surely play into Orpin’s storyline, although it hasn’t been announced whether or not Superman or Luthor himself will be in the new episodes.
Orpin and Gumede join fellow newcomers Iain Glenn as Bruce Wayne, Esai Morales as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke, Chella Man as his son Joseph/Jericho and Chelsea T. Zhang as his daughter Rose/Ravager.
They join the main cast comprised of Anna Diop as Koriand’r/Kory Anders/Starfire, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth/Raven, Ryan Potter as Garfield Logan/Beast Boy, and Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson/Robin. Curran Walters, who plays Jason Todd, the second Robin, has been upped to series regular for the second season. Recurring guest-stars Seamus Dever as Trigon, Minka Kelly as Dawn Granger/Dove, Conor Leslie as Donna Troy/Wonder Girl, and Alan Ritchson (Hank Hall/Hawk) are expected to return.
‘Titans’ Season 1 is now available to stream on DC Universe in the US and Netflix elsewhere. Season 2 is expected to premiere later this year.
Jax's earliest memory is of watching 'Batman,' followed shortly by a memory of playing Batman & Robin with a friend, which entailed running outside in just their underwear and towels as capes. When adults told them they couldn't run around outside in their underwear, both boys promptly whipped theirs off and ran around in just capes.
