We’ve known for awhile that Marvel’s Cinematic Universe was going up against Thanos in ‘Avengers: Infinity War‘ which would feature many of their movie heroes so far but now we’ve learned a few new names that will be showing up in the film! While we know that Captain America and Iron Man will be showing up on the same team since their bromance wore off in ‘Captain America: Civil War’ and bringing Doctor Strange into the mix, we’ve also just learned a few big names that will be suiting up to save the day.

First up, Brie Larson is mentioned so Captain Marvel will be making an appearance prior to her 2019 solo film. At this point, we don’t know if she is going to be showing up fully powered up or if the events in the film will somehow lead to her gaining superpowers. With her solo film revolving around her origin story it wouldn’t be surprising to see her just get powers here or be introduced as Carol Danvers prior to setting off on her own adventure.

On top of that, an unsurprising addition is Karen Gillan returning as Nebula. With the daddy issues she has and the minor if key role she had in the comic story arc of ‘The Infinity Gauntlet’, it should be no surprise that she survives the events of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ in order to confront her father figure.

With May 4th, 2018 still quite some time away, I’m sure we’ll be hearing plenty of casting rumors and details appear before the film’s release though with it being so close to filming starting it sounds like these two characters will definitely be making an appearance. How much of one still remains to be seen at this point.

Are you looking forward to an introduction to Captain Marvel? Do you feel that she’ll have powers in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ or just be introduced? What are your thoughts on the inclusion of Nebula? Share your thoughts below True Believers!

‘Avengers: Infinity War’ will smash onto the big screen on May 4th, 2018.
