Guardians-of-the-Galaxy-Vol-2-header

Fans of Karen Gillan‘s (‘Doctor Who’,’Oculus’) performance in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ will be thrilled at this tease of her being on set, in makeup, wearing her costume for ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2‘. Sadly, I do have to stress that this is just a tease of how she’ll be looking in the film but it is good to know that production is going forward and that this daughter of Thanos will once again be causing mischief and mayhem for our band of unlikely heroes. While the Mad Titan himself isn’t set to appear in the film, I’m wondering if Nebula will be there in his steed, if she’ll be out for some personal revenge, a coincidence that she is now working for the new villain, or if they are hunting her down for Gamora.

James Gunn has only released some very vague teasers so far and Gillan’s tweet of her blue hand resting on her thigh in a purple uniform is actually the closest to an actual shot of an actor in costume that we’ve seen so far. I suspect that this was authorized and she didn’t just sneak a quick hand selfie to share with the world.

Let’s take a look!

I cannot wait for Gunn to show her, and everyone else for that matter, in full costume. We’re still over a year away from the next installment to drop and thankfully Gunn had previously shown that he is quite happy to tease us with early images and details which will give us enough to keep us interested but not too much to take away any surprises from the film.
