We already know that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is going to be introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in ‘Captain America: Civil War‘ and now it sounds as if a character close to him will be as well! I know that we’re already basically having a third Avengers film with how many actors are involved but this is one that seems fitting if they are going to stick to something similar to the Superhuman Registration Act being put in place by the government.

So who is this mystery character and why would they be a good fit? Well there are a few signs pointing to the introduction of Marisa Tomei as Aunt May here instead of in the first official ‘Spider-Man’ movie. Certain furniture and props point to a scene that takes place in Peter Parker’s bedroom which is where Tomei will first show up on screen. With Spider-Man being so young in this take it wouldn’t be too surprising if he had to come clean to his Aunt May before registering himself with the government.

Perhaps he even goes to her for advice on the matter.

If this rumor does prove true we’ll see Tomei joining other newcomers Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, Daniel Bruhl as Baron Zemo, and Martin Freeman in his mystery roll.

There will also be all of the returning cast members from the Marvel Cinematic Universe which includes Chris Evans as Captain America, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Anthony Mackie as Falcon, Sebastian Stan as The Winter Soldier, Elizabeth Olsen as the Scarlet Witch, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Paul Bettany as Vision, Frank Grillo as Crossbones, Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, and Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter.

Sure feels like an Avengers movie lineup to me!
