In only 2 weeks one of the most anticipated Marvel superhero films will be in theaters! ‘Guardians of the Galaxy‘ is not your usual Marvel comic book movie but that doesn’t mean it won’t be as entertaining as the others. In fact, from the trailers seen so far, the film looks to be a bona fide box office smash!
After what seems to be a long wait, Marvel has finally rolled out clips from the film and we have 2 to share today! What is nice about the clips is that they show off both the comedic side of the film as well as the action filled sequences movie goers expect out of a Marvel film. The scenes are extended versions of what have already been teased in the trailers so they really can’t be considered too spoilery. If you do want to see the movie cold, however, you may want to just pass on watching these for now.
For those who can’t get enough of the film, the first clip below has Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) caught in the act of stealing an orb by Korath (Djimon Hounsou) who works for Ronan (Lee Pace). The face off between them doesn’t seem to go as planned – especially when Quill thinks a simple name dropping can get him out of this mess:
Speaking of plans, while the last video had the action, this next clip ensures hilarity and is a longer version of the scene that was included in the extended trailer not too long again. Here, the Guardians discuss the validity of Quill’s plan while Groot (Vin Diesel) decides to snack on… well see for yourself:
Yes, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ is definitely not the movie you want to miss this summer!
