With the new fall season looming, the CW has released an advertisement for the second season of its hit show ‘Arrow‘ which depicts the live-action exploits of DC Comics’ urban Robin Hood, Green Arrow/Oliver Queen. In addition to Oliver (front and center, portrayed by Stephen Amell), the poster also features Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy), Deathstroke/Slade Wilson (Manu Bennett), Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), John Diggle (David Ramsey), Thea Queen (Willa Holland) and Roy Harper (Colton Haynes).
Bennett and Rickards have newly been promoted to regular cast members. Bennett/Deathstroke has only appeared in flashbacks up to this point, but presumably with his prominence in the ad, he will be making a bigger splash this season.

It looks to be a big season for the sophomore hit, with more characters being drawn from the DC Comics Universe including Black Canary (Caity Lotz), Jean Loring (Teryl Rothery), Sin (Bex Taylor-Klaus), and of course The Flash, with possibly more on the way as well.
The new adventures of Green Arrow kick off Wednesday, October 9th on the CW.
