At this rate, every single person who has appeared in the X-Men movie franchise ever will be part of Bryan Singer’s ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’. Even though production has been under way for some time now, the director keeps adding cast members to his return to the Marvel mutants. Or they’ve all been in from the start and he’s just revealing them as shooting goes on. Either way, the latest mutant to be confirmed as part of the cast was last seen in ‘X-Men: First Class’.

Through his personal Twitter account, Singer revealed that Lucas Till would indeed be rejoining castmates James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, and Nicholas Hoult as he reprises the role of Alex Summers AKA Havok. Previously, it had not been made clear whether the actor would be returning or not, but reports indicated that he was spotted on set earlier this month. At the time, his purpose there was not known, but now it’s clearly not a coincidence that he was hanging around the Canadian set.

Here’s the announcement of Till’s return featuring a quote from President John F. Kennedy and a picture of young Summers in a military uniform:

Currently, it is unknown what Havok has been up to since his days in the First Class or how large his part in the movie is going to be, but maybe we’ll learn a little something during Fox’s panel at San Diego Comic Con later this week.
