The Hollywood Reporter scored a scoop with the first four pages of this coming Wednesday’s The Walking Dead #108, written by Robert Kirkman and illustrated by Charlie Adlard. The bulk of the preview showcases villain Negan, declaring “Let the slaughter begin.”
What initially seems like a playful game becomes a showcase for the unbalanced leader, referencing his “harem” which includes the former wife of his lieutenant Dwight.
We also get a brief glimpse of Michonne and Carl, surrounded by a horde of walkers, but Carl doesn’t seem too concerned.
There is no sign of Ezekiel, the mysterious figure who graces this issue’s cover, who is tied to the fairly recent cast addition Jesus.
