We’re under a month away from ‘The Witcher’ debuting on Netflix and the streaming giant has shared a new promotional poster for the series. Here, we get a great new look at Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Anya Chalotra as Ciri, and Freya Allan as Yennefer.
While it seems like showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich might have some huge shoes to fill after the success of the novels and video game franchise, she’s recently revealed that she already has seven seasons mapped out. We’ll get to see at least two of them as Netflix has so much faith in the series and what they’ve seen so far that they’ve greenlit a second season. I suspect that we’ll have more to come.

Honestly, when they first revealed that Cavill would play Geralt on the series, I was a bit worried. I was so stuck on how he looked as Superman for DC but now seeing him in costume and with the hair, it is hard to argue that he doesn’t look the part. Also, thanks to Zack Snyder giving us a ‘Man of Steel’ that was cold and emotionless half the time, we know that the actor can pull off how Geralt acts around many of the people he comes across.
