We haven’t had many details on Gina Carano’s character Cara Dune from ‘The Mandalorian‘ quite yet but now we’ve got a great shot of her and how she’ll meet the star of the show. The first Disney+ live-action “Star Wars” series really looks to be full of action, and this shot showcases that as well. From a previous interview, we know that Carano’s character is an “ex-Rebel shock trooper,” who is “having some trouble reintegrating myself into society.” It also appears that she’ll be on the run when we first meet her.
According to the actress:
“She’s gone from planet to planet. She’s a loner. She’s strong. She runs into the Mandalorian on one of these planets that she’s hiding out on and thinks that he’s there to take her in and then their relationship escalates from there.”
While it sounds as if the two are at odds when she first meets Pedro Pascal‘s The Mandalorian, this new image from Entertainment Weekly seems to have the two working together against a common foe.

The two working together is something which hadn’t really been teased at in the last trailer for the show.
