If this weekend’s D23 Expo convinced you to sign up for Disney+ when it launches on November 12, you may be wondering what programming you will get to enjoy right away. In addition to the series ‘The Mandalorian’, Disney has provided a listing of all of its movies that will be available on launch day. 300 titles will be available at launch, with that rising to 500 to within the first year, with 100 of those being “recent” theatrical releases.
If you are a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there is some bad news, as it seems that the offerings will be very light to start with. The good news is that Disney+ will be the only streaming service to offer ‘CaptainMarvel’, which will be available on Nov. 12, and ‘Avengers: Endgame’ will follow on December 11.
Among other newer and yet-to-be-released films that will only be available on Disney+ once they arrive to stream are ‘Frozen 2’, ‘The Lion King’, ‘Toy Story 4’, and ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’.
