The good news for ‘Black Mirror’ fans is that the trailer for the fifth season of the series is out, but the bad news is that it is only 3-episodes long. Still, the trailer gives us a great look at the three shows by Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones. In it, we get a look at Anthony Mackie, Miley Cyrus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Topher Grace, Damson Idris, Andrew Scott, Nicole Beharie, Pom Klementieff, Angourie Rice, Madison Davenport, and Ludi Lin. Talk about an all-star cast!

While it is exciting that we’re getting the third season so shortly after the release of ‘Black Mirror: Bandersnatch‘ it is still annoying that we’re only getting three episodes. Of course, with the names attached, it is easy to forgive the lower runtime.
In this season, we’ll be seeing how artificial intelligence, smart technology, and virtual reality all go bad and give us more insight as to what can happen when technology runs unchecked. Outside of technology, Cyrus’s storyline clearly has a highly meta feel as she is playing a star who has to transform herself in order to gain even more fans.
