We know that the Marvel Cinematic Universe likes to keep everyone in the dark to avoid spoilers and that extends to the actors themselves. In another case of this occurring, Letitia Wright, who plays Shuri from ‘Black Panther,’ found out that she faded away during The Decimation in ‘Avengers: Infinity War‘ when the rest of us did.

That’s right folks! It wasn’t until she saw the grey image of her character on a poster for ‘Avengers: Endgame‘ that she found out that her character was no longer among the living.

According to Wright:

“It was surprising. I saw everybody in the colored photos, you know the colored posters, and then I saw myself in grey. And I was like, ‘I just died out of nowhere!’ I think the whole of Twitter was pretty upset so I kind of logged off and didn’t log back on. So I’m waiting to see how that came together and how that panned out tonight.”

Ouch.

However, it kind of makes sense. We already have Tony Stark and Bruce Banner working on the problem, and it seems like if Shuri was among them helping with a solution that the 3-hour runtime would likely be cut in half before the heroes were all back alive and sitting around eating shawarma!
