Avengers: Endgame'

After half their number were wiped out in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’… not to mention half of all humanity… The Avengers will live up to their name and “Avenge the Fallen,” according to these 16 dramatic ‘Avengers: Endgame’ posters that honor those that were seemingly killed.  Each poster features a dramatic (and beautiful) black and white closeup of the character, usually in a partial profile, with the ominous message “Avenge the Fallen” in purple, with the “a” in “Fallen” being the familiar “A-logo.”  The name ‘Avengers: Endgame’ doesn’t appear… because it doesn’t have to.  The Marvel logo and the release date of “April 26” are seen at the bottom.  (I believe these posters were made using existing photographs, which is why the poses aren’t uniform.)

The posters were released in two batches, but we have them all.  Interestingly, these posters do not only spotlight those that were dusted by The Snap.  Gamora, Loki, and Vision, who died beforehand also get posters.  To the surviving heroes, it doesn’t matter how they fell, they still need avenging.  Does this hint that these other characters could return in ‘Endgame’?  We can only hope!

Here are the new posters (click each one to enlarge):

The rolecall of the fallen includes Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Bucky (Sebastian Stan), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Drax (Dave Bautista), The Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Groot (Vin Diesel), Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Mantis (Pom Klementieff), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Shuri (Letitia Wright, who wasn’t revealedto have been dusted until the first ‘Endgame’ trailer was released), Spider-Man (Tom Hiddleston), Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), The Vision (Paul Bettany), and The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly, who vanished in ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’, released after ‘Infinity War’).

On April 26, we’ll see how Black Widow, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Hawkeye, The Hulk, Iron Man, Nebula, Okoye, Rocket, and Thor avenge… and hopefully revive their friends.
