It's "Time To Play" With The New 'Child's Play' Trailer And Poster

MGM and Orion Pictures have released a full trailer for the upcoming reboot to ‘Child’s Play’ and while we were initially all hesitant on it being created, the simple fact that Mark Hamill has been cast as the killer doll has won over many of us at least giving it a chance.

Aubrey Plaza is Karen and Gabriel Bateman is her son Andy which will, as always, be the focus of the franchise when it comes to the young boy being hunted by a killer doll.

I’m sick of reboots, and while this stars Mark Hamill as the voice actor for our killer friend ’til the end, I’m still having problems getting behind this one. Even so, it looks like it has potential. While I was initially annoyed with the idea that they were going with a killer AI instead of possession, it is a solid way to differentiate it from the first movie while updating it to a current issue with the rise of AI in all aspects of our lives.
