Justice League Vs Titans

‘Batman V Superman’ not your bag?  Maybe this superhero clash will be more your speed.  Just after the Zack Snyder battle hits theaters this weekend, Warner Brothers will be releasing the animated feature ‘Justice League Vs Teen Titans‘ on DVD and BluRay on Tuesday, March 29.

In the movie, Robin (Damian Wayne) screws up a Justice League mission and gets sent to the “minor leagues,” the Teen Titans to shape up.

What is this mission?  This new clip from the film gives a tease, as it depicts the JL fighting The Flash’ foe Weather Wizard.  But things go sideways when a third party steps in– Trigon, the demon conqueror who also happens to be Raven’s father.  Fueled by the power of Trigon, Weather Wizard now appears to be powerful enough to take on the might of Superman, Wonder Woman and the rest.

This film takes place in the same animated universe as the last several WB DC animated movies, but gives our first glimpse of this universe’s take on the Titans, who are slightly modeled after the characters that appear on the Cartoon Network’s versions.  (At least as far as their lineup is concerned.)

Check out the League in action below:

(Yes, this clip appears to be slightly unfinished as I assume there’s supposed to be blood dripping from Superman’s nose after he gets struck.)

You can also watch the trailer for the film below:

Robin is sent to work with the Titans after his volatility botches a Justice League mission. The young team must really step up to face Trigon after he possesses the League and threatens to conquer the world. Justice League vs. Teen Titans stars Sean Maher as Dick Grayson/Nightwing, Stuart Allan as Damian Wayne/Robin, Jon Bernthal as Trigon, Taissa Farmiga as Raven, Jake T. Austin as Blue Beetle, Brandon Soo Hoo as Beast Boy, Kari Wahlgren as Starfire, Shemar Moore as Victor Stone/Cyborg, Jerry O’Connell as Clark Kent/Superman, Jason O’Mara as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Rosario Dawson as Diana of Themyscira/Wonder Woman, and Christopher Gorham as Barry Allen/The Flash. Written by Bryan Q. Miller and Alan Burnett, and directed by Sam Liu.

This next few days appears to be heaven for DC fans!  Will you be snatching this movie up for your collection?
