Chris Evans’ Captain America famously chided his teammates for using profanity in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’, but it looks like those bad apples have been a negative influence on Cap. Either that or the hardships he’s endured since being unfrozen have stomped out what was left of the 1940s out of him.
Yesterday, a new clip from ‘Avengers: Endgame’ was released via the talk show ‘Good Morning America’. Now that same clip has been re-released with one phrase that was absent in that cut: “Son of a bitch.” And as you probably guessed, it was muttered by none other than wholesome Steve Rogers.

The mania over ‘Avengers: Endgame’ is at a fever pitch. Tickets went on sale last week and within six hours, it had become the fastest-selling movie ever, and now, opening day tickets are going in the thousands. One pair to an afternoon showing in New Jersey was sold on eBay for $15,000!
As excited as fans are for this movie, there is a certain sense of melancholy, as this film marks the end of a decade’s worth of storytelling, and it’s clear that we’ll be saying goodbye to a lot of beloved characters, with Evans’ Cap being one of the most likely candidates to be leaving for good.
Yesterday, at the ‘Avengers: Endgame’ press conference, Marvel chief Kevin Feige addressed the finality of events in this movie, saying:
“About four or five years ago, we talked about what haven’t we seen in films based on comic characters. We haven’t seen an ending — definitive conclusion to an overall saga. That’s why it’s called Endgame, and that’s why I think it’s very, very, very special.”
At the same event, Evans was a bit more cautious in choosing his words, simply uttering:
“It’s the completion of the arc. This film does kind of provide an ending to a lot of … [Cap]’s just been through so much…”
He’s sure to go through a lot more by the end of ‘Avengers: Endgame’s 3-hours.
‘Avengers: Endgame’ brings some closure to the MCU starting on April 26.
