Following yesterday’s reveal of Robin and Beast Boy-centered videos from ‘Titans’, DC Universe has now unveiled two more clips that focus on the female half of the team, Raven and Starfire. ‘Titans’ will be the first original offering from DC Universe, Warner Brothers’ new streaming service specifically catering to fans of DC Comics. The series stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson/Robin, Teagan Croft as Raven, Anna Diop as Starfire and Ryan Potter as Beast Boy.
You can check the videos out below:
Raven will be a central character on the first season of ‘Titans’ as it is believed that her demonic father, Trigon will be the Big Bad, and that Seamus Dever is playing him. (But that’s just speculation at this point.)
In the comics, Raven is an empath with healing powers. On the ‘Teen Titans’ cartoon, she was given telekinetic abilities. She is the daughter of the demon Trigon and a human woman, Arella. Reportedly, Arella will appear in the pilot, but… er, not for long, as Raven has to go on the run, leading her to Dick Grayson.
And while Starfire plays coy in the trailer above, she is an alien princess from the planet Tamaran. She can channel solar energy into devastating star bolts and can fly. Her alien heritage appears to play a role on the series, as she is seen examining some writings in an extraterrestrial language that she appears to understand.
Raven will reportedly live at Bruce Wayne’s penthouse, while Starfire is a woman of mystery, able to speak various languages and possessing multiple passports with different names.
‘Titans’ will arrive on DC Universe on October 12, after a big screen premier at New York Comic-Con on October 3. It will be followed by a ‘Doom Patrol’ spin-off, as well as ‘Swamp Thing’ and ‘Stargirl’, as well as animated series ‘Young Justice: Outsiders’ and ‘Harley Quinn’.

Jax Motes
Jax's earliest memory is of watching 'Batman,' followed shortly by a memory of playing Batman & Robin with a friend, which entailed running outside in just their underwear and towels as capes. When adults told them they couldn't run around outside in their underwear, both boys promptly whipped theirs off and ran around in just capes.
