We already knew that Mr. Nobody was slated to be the villain in DC Universe’s ‘Doom Patrol’ and Alan Tudyk (‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’,’Firefly’) has signed on to play the part!

Mr. Nobody’s backstory for the series is below:

“After exposure to unknown experiments by ex-Nazis in post-war Paraguay, the man formerly known as Eric Morden emerges as a living shadow able to drain the sanity of others as the enigmatic, and totally insane, Mr. Nobody.”

It should be noted that a recent casting call was looking to pull in someone who would play an ex-Nazi scientist which could very well mean that he’ll be included in Mr. Nobody’s origin.

In the comics, Mr. Nobody is a criminal mastermind who hates heroes so it will be interesting to see what route the new live-action series will take as it reveals more details of the character.

Are you excited to see Alan Tudyk join the DC Universe as Mr. Nobody in ‘Doom Patrol’? Do you think he’ll be appearing in a few seasons or only a single one? Share your thoughts below!

Synopsis:

DOOM PATROL is a re-imagining of one of DC’s most beloved group of outcast Super Heroes: Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl and Crazy Jane, led by modern-day mad scientist Dr. Niles Caulder (The Chief). The Doom Patrol’s members each suffered horrible accidents that gave them superhuman abilities—but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found purpose through The Chief, who brought them together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence—and to protect Earth from what they find. Part support group, part Super Hero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of super-powered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them. Picking up after the events of TITANS, DOOM PATROL will find these reluctant heroes in a place they never expected to be, called to action by none other than Cyborg, who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse, but with a warning that is hard to ignore: their lives will never, ever be the same.
