'The Crimes Of Grindlewald

Fans of the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ franchise will most certainly remember the adorable shiny trinket collecting Nifflers from the first film. The cuddly little coin thieves made things tricky for Newt Scamander throughout the film, but also served as the cutest things in the Wizarding World.

Ahead of the premiere of ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Crimes of Gindlewald,’ EW has released some exclusive photos of something even more adorable, baby Nifflers! Prepare to squee!

And, check out the concept art for the little cuties!

In the second installment of the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ franchise, Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) tries to wrangle the newborn nifflers, which are just as mischievous as their parents. Speaking about the little rascals, Redmayne says:

“They’re wreaking havoc.”

The film will also feature a number of new Fantastic Beasts, such as the Kelpie, a Scottish underwater creature that can be mounted and ridden, a leucrota, a large moose-like creature with a huge month, and an Augurey, an owl-like creature whose cry is believed to foreshadow death.

In addition to Redmayne, the film will bring back Ezra Miller as Credence, a teenager with suppressed magical powers who became an Obscurus and wreaked havoc on New York. Johnny Depp will also return as Grindelwald, a powerful wizard with a complicated relationship with Dumbledore, who will be played by Jude Law.

New cast members include Zoe Kravitz as Leta Lestrange (a former love interest of Newt’s) and Callum Turner as Newt’s brother Theseus. Brontis Jodorowsky will play Nicolas Flamel.

Here is the official synopsis for the film:

Magizoologist Newt Scamander joins forces with young Albus Dumbledore to prevent the devious Gellert Grindelwald from raising pure-blood wizards to rule over all non-magical beings.

‘The Crimes of Grindelwald’ opens in theaters November 16.
