The marketing campaign for ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ has kept their cards close to the vest when it comes to the plot details much like Solo would in a good game of Sabacc. However, new reports seem to confirm the appearance of one character which hasn’t been talked about too much. It is surprising too as they would be the perfect fit for helping craft a younger Han Solo’s adventures into smuggling.
Now, this is a huge potential spoiler, so if you don’t want to know who it could be you should turn back now!
When it comes to ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story,’ it has already been established that we’ll be seeing the first introductions with Lando and Chewbacca. Now it seems Jabba the Hutt is also making an appearance.
Yes, the crime boss himself who we know has a history with Solo will be popping up in the film!
According to a source with knowledge on the film:
“It’s a huge secret, but Jabba is returning to the Star Wars universe. Fans will learn why Han ended up owing him so much money. Yoda was brought back for The Last Jedi, and now Disney wants to bring back another legacy character.”
This reference could mean that we won’t be seeing much of Jabba just as Yoda didn’t have a big part in ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ but it could still be critical to crafting the tale of a younger Solo. This movie could not only set the stage for their long-running work relationship but, as the source indicated, why Han owes him so much money.
