titan booksTitan Books has just inked a deal with Marvel to deliver a slew of reprint editions of out-of-print comics and, more importantly, brand-new novels! The first of these newer releases will be ‘Avengers: Everybody Wants to Rule The
World’ which is being penned by Marvel Comics writer Dan Abnett and is set to be released on April 10th of 2018.

The series will initially reintroduce fans to books featuring favorites such as Captain America, Black Panther, Deadpool, Ant-Man, and Spider-Man. New novels will also be dropping that follow villains including both Venom and Dark Phoenix that are scheduled for an October release.

Titan Books editorial director Laura Price spoke of Marvel’s “long legacy of creating exciting and innovative IP” saying:

“[We are] delighted to be joining this legacy, and we look forward to a continuing relationship helping to expand the Marvel Universe in collaboration with Marvel themselves.”

Between April and November of 2018, there is a plan for nine books to be released in both the North American and UK markets but a full list has yet to be revealed.

In ‘Avengers-Everybody-Wants-to-Rule-The-World’:

HOW MANY VILLAINS DOES IT TAKE TO RULE THE WORLD?

Hydra has a synthetic pathogen that will make the entire human race dependent on them for the cure. A.I.M.’s newly developed nanotech compound to enslave humanity is dangerously close to contaminating the world’s water supplies. Ultron is poised on the edge of Singularity, Earth’s technology at his metallic fingertips. Dormammu has a plan to save the world–by claiming it as his own. The High Evolutionary is rewriting the human genome in a bid to turn humankind into a eugenic slave-race.

Everybody wants to rule the world–and only the isolated Avengers can stop them.

THE MIGHTY AVENGERS FACE AN ARRAY OF THEIR GREATEST FOES–ALL AT ONCE!

There are quite a few classic Marvel tales which would lend themselves to prose just as well as they have the standard comic format and it will be fun to see what options end up on the table for us to read.
