IT Pennywise

We’ve already seen that Bill Skarsgard seems to have captured quite the freaky clown look for Pennywise in the upcoming ‘It‘ by Andy Muschietti and now we have a closer look at the character. As one of Stephen King’s most iconic monsters, it has been hard to imagine anyone beating Tim Curry’s performance as the classic clown. That being said, at least visually it seems like Skarsgard might have a leg up on the creep factor. While we don’t know if his acting and voice will outdo Curry, these new shots seem to show exactly how terrifying he’ll be on screen.

It looks like we’ll have a new take on the character which has traumatized the world against clowns for the past few decades.

Let’s take a look at these new shots which have come up. The scans are from Fangoria magazine and are some of the best stills that we’ve seen to date with both a full body shot as well as a close up on Pennywise.

Pennywise

With each new shot for the film, I’m getting more excited to see it play out on screen. At the very least, it looks like it will have less mixed reviews than Stephen King’s other recent adaptation of ‘The Dark Tower’ as almost everyone has been praising the trailers for this so far.

What do you think of the new Pennywise for the cinematic version of ‘It’? Do you think that Bill Skarsgard will be able to fill Tim Curry’s clown shoes? Share your thoughts below!
