If you had asked Arya Stark in last season’s ‘Game of Thrones,‘ revenge is a dish best served warm. Now Sophie Turner is talking about Sansa and her revenge in the upcoming seventh season! When we first were introduced to Sansa Stark, she was a lovesick, innocent young girl with no notion on how the world she lived in actually worked. Of all of the characters that we’ve seen develop, Sophie’s changes have been some of the most prominent and Sophie Clarke spoke a little bit about how she’ll be in the upcoming season.
How much would the revenge against Bolton have changed this woman who has suffered at the hands of so many? Deep down, Turner hopes it hasn’t changed her that much!
“I do wonder if she’ll falter a little. She’s spent so long trying to survive and see her family again — it’s the only thing that’s kept her going and motivated, when so many times, she could have given up. So I think she may change a little, but at the end of the day, I think her heart is still good. The way she deals with her problems and her enemies may be different from how she would have dealt with them in the day when she was 13 or so.”
Littlefinger might be trying to shape her to play the Game of Thrones as his pawn and second, but it seems as if Turner believes that Sansa will come out on top but in her own way. After being abused by first the King and after that Bolton, you have to wonder if being close to Littlefinger for so long might set her against Jon Snow after he has now become King of the North.
She didn’t seem completely thrilled when he ended up with the title.
