Friday-the-13th

Jason Voorhees might be one of the most iconic horror slashers of all time, thanks to ‘Friday the 13th,’ but as any true fan knows it was Pamela Voorhees that was the original killer. In the upcoming ‘Friday the 13th: The Game’ they are doing her justice by bringing her back. Actress Jen Burton has voiced her for tapes which players can find spread across Camp Crystal Lake as well as a few of the other locations in the game.

According to Co-creator Wes Keltner “, she said like four words [as Pamela] and we all got chills.” She’ll be reading dialogue which had been written by ‘Jason Lives’ writer and director Tom McLoughlin which helps make it that much more authentic.

You can listen to The Pamela Tapes Volume 1 and 2 right here!

There will be a slew scattered throughout the game though it doesn’t look as if the exact number has been announced at this time. While it seems that any attempt to continuing or reboot the series has fallen by the wayside for the immediate future, it might be for the best if this is how we can continue on with the Voorhees clan.
