On the second day of C2E2, the lovely, wonderful, and amazing attendees gave to me (and just about everyone that attended the convention) a cornucopia of creative costumes. Much like the first day, there were con staples such as Deadpool, Harley Quinn, and Whovians sporting little red fezzes in support of the Matt Smith’s Doctor from ‘Doctor Who’, but a stroll around the show floor revealed pleasantly surprising appearances from classic throwbacks, new takes on old favorites, and a few lesser known (but still awesome) characters.
Just to get an idea of some of day two’s cosplay offerings, let me ask you this: Where else can you see Bryan Lee O’ Malley and Leslie Hung’s Lottie Person aka Snotgirl, the Goblin King from ‘Labyrinth’, the cast of ‘Mummies Alive!’, Miss America Chavez, Mulan(s), and the Marvel Comics villains Grim Reaper all in one place? Well if you were in Chicago over the weekend, then the only answer is McCormick Place for C2E2. But if you weren’t, check out the gallery below:
