If you’ve been waiting to see more Jaeger pilots ready to go then you’ll be happy that this new set photo from ‘Pacific Rim: Uprising‘ has Scott Eastwood (‘Grand Torino’,’Suicide Squad’) all suited up and ready to go! Actually, it looks like the action may have just ended with how his uniform looks in this shot. Either that, or he’s just really bad at doing laundry and taking showers. Not only that but we’ve got a bonus shot of Boyega waiting for action.

The suit matches the one which John Boyega‘s character was seen wearing on an early set photo so it would appear that the two are indeed paired up as was originally suspected. We don’t know much about either at this time, though Boyega will be playing the son of Idris Elba’s Stacker Pentecost from the first film.

Here’s the shot of Scott Eastwood in uniform:

While the blood on Eastwood’s face almost looks to be from a head wound of some sort, the rest of it on his bicep and side could be from another source. My guess is that we’re seeing the results of his Jaeger getting into quite a fight with whatever monsters our heroes are up against in this film. Perhaps this blood is from Eastwood’s co-pilot which is where Boyega first comes into the picture as his new one? Honestly, it’s all just guesswork at this time with how little we know of the plot. Whatever the outcome of that fight we also have a new look at Boyega which was recently shared that looks amazing! Well, with what is in the image at least, maybe not the quality of it.

Are you looking forward to checking out the sequel to ‘Pacific Rim’ when it comes out? Share your thoughts on the first look of Scott Eastwood in uniform or Boyega waiting around below!

‘Pacific Rim: Uprising’ will smash into theaters on February 23rd, 2018.
